During mowing season, farmers and agricultural contractors face a major challenge. Fawns and prairie bird nests are deeply hidden in tall grass and do not flee when a tractor approaches. The result is often tragic: a loss for nature and a traumatic experience for the driver.

The Faunadrone offers the solution. Through a combination of thermal imaging and artificial intelligence (AI), we quickly map animal locations, so that mowing can be done safely and efficiently.

3. Services (full service): No own drone license? Our certified professional pilots handle the entire scan. We come to you, fly over your fields and mark the locations.

Our software is specially developed for maximum field efficiency:

• Fauna Detect (with AI): Creates a flight plan in seconds. The integrated AI recognizes nests and fawns in real time. No data processing afterwards; you immediately see what is on the ground.

• Spot Finder app: The locations found (hotspots) are shared directly with the farmer or contractor. Via the app in the tractor cab, the driver sees exactly where to steer clear.

• Integration: Seamless coupling with Google Maps, Telegram and the Boerenlandvogel monitor. Including logging of hectares flown over.

The Faunadrone is designed for intensive field work and can be operated by a single person.

• DJI Matrice drone: Equipped with a stabilized optical zoom camera and high-resolution thermal sensor.

• Ultra-bright smart controller: Optimal screen visibility, even in bright sunlight.

• Case with power management: A robust case in which all batteries (drone, remote control and second screen) are charged simultaneously via a single outlet.

• Flight time: Supplied standard with 6 batteries for total availability up to 4 hours.

• Field kit: Including a high-quality tripod for ergonomic use and 32GB U3 SD card.

The Faunadrone is more than a rescue tool for fawns. Thanks to specific sensors and specialized software, the system is also extremely well suited for detection, study and monitoring of insects, including Asian hornets. This makes the drone a valuable instrument for ecological management year-round.
