The drone receiver XR brings transmitter technology to the air. Thanks to the clear line of sight that a drone offers, signals from tagged horned larks are detected faster and more reliably than with ground tracking. Obstacles such as buildings, trees and terrain play a much smaller role. Especially with lower-lying primary nests, this makes a decisive difference. The antenna is physically adjustable, so both horizontal tracking and downward searching are possible. This makes the XR deployable in all terrain conditions and nest locations. The receiver not only determines whether there is a signal, but also where it comes from. Multiple sensors work together to display the direction visually, making the search intuitive and requiring less terrain experience than traditional methods. The XR is compatible with wildlife detection and SAR software, allowing the same platform to be used for multiple applications in nature management and rescue operations. Compatible with the DJI Matrice 4 Enterprise series. Range up to 4 kilometers. A professional team can thus locate more nests per day, faster and with fewer resources.
