BeeFence

An electric harp for protecting beehives against the Asian hornet, developed and produced in Belgium. Where the original harps from Portugal and Spain served as a basis, the BeeFence was greatly improved based on practical experience and experiments. The larger string spacing ensures that honeybees are virtually never affected. The higher output voltage kills the Asian hornet on the spot, making a water tank unnecessary. The automatic on/off function switches the harp off at night, which greatly reduces power consumption and spares nocturnal wildlife. Each harp has its own high voltage module, which avoids problems with moisture and melted connectors. All extension cables and splitters operate on low voltage of 12V. Available as a kit or ready-made, with multiple power supply options.
